About William Evans

WeBuild was founded by William John Michael Evans and has been owned and run by him since 2010. Born and bred in Cornwall, and coming from a Cornish building family, Will has a solid heritage in the building trade. He has been involved in building since he could walk (and wear a hard-hat small enough) and by helping his Father on site he learnt the many skills of the trade quite literally from the ground up.

With this valuable first hand experience under his belt, he went off to study at Cornwall College and achieved an NVQ2 in Construction Operations. He then moved on to apply his existing and new found skills working under the wisdom of many experienced professional tradesmen, increasing his on-site experience and expanding on his general building trade knowledge. Though skilled in all the basic construction trades, his passion is Masonry. As a qualified Mason he takes great pride in working with all materials, especially the local produce such as Stone, Granite and Slate.

Starting his own company in 2010 was a massive leap, and he is the first to admit a scary one, but it paid off! He has completed many successful projects over the past few years and continues to be in demand, especially through the comments and recommendations from previous customers. The Internet and Websites are modern essentials, but Will feels that ‘Word of Mouth’ marketing is the best you can get and will strive to continue to favour that method of finding future work.

To that end he has set about a new kind of building…. to build a strong set of values….
